READING YOUR CUSTOMER’S MIND: BALANCING HIGH TECH AND HIGH TOUCH…AMIDST COVID-19
Extraco Banks, an affiliate corporation of Extraco Consulting, built a strategy called SWARM Banking to address today’s challenges of balancing high tech and high touch through a Universal Banker model. Lindsay will share the phased progression of the implementation model and the common speed bumps present in implementing a universal banker model.
Learn what drove the change in the bank’s delivery model and everything that needs to be addressed in a successful universal banker strategy. Lindsay will also provide an overview on successful COVID-19 adaptation strategies for universal banker models and community banks in general.
Lindsay has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a background in innovation, project management, marketing, IT and information systems management, retail banking, alternative delivery channels, operations, and PR.
During her time at Extraco Banks, Lindsay was responsible for retail innovation, project management, social media, retail hiring, and training and alternative delivery channel development and management. Lindsay also served on its Strategic Leadership Team, Innovation Committee, LEAN Committee, and Technology Steering Committee.

As Principal of Moushon Consulting, LLC., Steve works with large and small banks and credit unions on everything from compliance and risk management to BSA and operational efficiency. His passion is working with small institutions to coach leaders to success and helping individuals and teams exceed their own expectations of what they can accomplish!

It’s a fair bet that few organizations’ contingency plans included even half of the surprises 2020 has produced. When companies are forced to change standard operating procedures practically overnight, we get some things right and some things not-so-right.
Our initial actions were important. Our adjustments and continued evolution since then are even more vital. In an industry adjusting to massive change, our people – the moving parts of our organizations – are the critical factor between success and failure. Like many in the banking industry, Dave Martin was an accidental banker. After early careers as a radio morning man, marketing director for an oilfield industry supplier, and a stretch working in the finance department of a university research facility, Dave was recruited by a friend to join a bank. Specifically, he was hired to run that institution’s first in-store branch location.
Dave Martin has become one of the most prolific writers in the banking industry. His columns and newsletters are read in thousands of financial institutions each month. His keynote presentations, seminars, and podcasts have an authenticity and humor that brings teams of all sizes and seniority levels together.
