New Orleans Bucket List for EVOLVE 2026
Wondering what you need to see during your time in NOLA?
We’ve got you covered!
New Orleans is a vibrant, walkable city with so much to explore. We encourage attendees to stay aware of their surroundings, explore during daylight hours when possible, travel in groups, use trusted transportation services, and follow local guidance. The suggested locations and activities are shared as helpful recommendations, and we ask guests to use their own judgment while exploring. Each attendee is responsible for their personal safety and experiences while in the city.

Café Du Monde
A legendary open-air café in the French Quarter famous for its beignets, hot, fluffy fried dough buried under powdered sugar, and chicory coffee. Open almost 24/7, it’s a classic stop for early mornings, late nights, and everything in between.

St. Louis Cathedral & Jackson Square
This is the historic heart of New Orleans, surrounded by street performers, artists, and 18th-century architecture. St. Louis Cathedral anchors the square and offers one of the most iconic photo spots in the city.

Bourbon Street
The most famous street in New Orleans, known for its nonstop nightlife, neon lights, and live music pouring out of every doorway. Even if partying isn’t your thing, it’s worth seeing once for the spectacle.

NOMA & City Park
The New Orleans Museum of Art features impressive fine art, photography, and rotating exhibitions. Right outside, City Park offers massive oak trees, sculpture gardens, and peaceful walking paths, perfect for slowing down.

Steamboat Natchez Cruise
This is a classic paddle-wheel steamboat cruise along the Mississippi River with live jazz and skyline views. It’s a relaxed way to experience the river’s importance to New Orleans’ history and culture.

Ghost Tour
Join guided walking tours through haunted buildings, cemeteries, and shadowy streets of the French Quarter. These tours mix spooky stories with real history, making them entertaining even if you’re skeptical.

Frenchmen Street
A lively stretch of clubs and bars known for authentic live jazz, funk, and blues every night of the week. It’s more local-focused than Bourbon Street and a favorite for music lovers.

Swamp Cruise
Join guided boat tours through Louisiana’s swamps and bayous where you can spot alligators, birds, and other wildlife. A great way to experience the natural side of Louisiana beyond the city.

Hotel Montleone Carousel Bar
Located inside our conference venue, the historic Hotel Monteleone, the Carousel Bar is one of New Orleans’ most iconic cocktail spots. The circular bar slowly rotates as guests enjoy classic and craft cocktails, making it a unique and memorable place to gather, unwind, and network just steps from the conference events.
