Client Objective

Tucson Federal Credit Union, a $925 million institution, is in an active growth phase across the Tucson metropolitan area. Their strategy focuses on expanding into neighborhoods where they can better serve individuals who live, work, and worship locally.

The Rita Ranch storefront location in Southeast Tucson was selected to:

  • Extend reach into a high-growth residential area
  • Provide convenient access for existing members
  • Attract new members in an underserved market
  • Strengthen the credit union’s local presence

This branch plays a key role in supporting both retention and acquisition within the region.

The Challenge

The credit union required the branch to be fully operational by the end of July, creating a firm, non-negotiable deadline.

Key project pressures included:

  • A fixed opening date tied to strategic expansion plans
  • Need for seamless coordination from design through construction
  • Ensuring full operational readiness at turnover
  • Delivering within a compressed six-month schedule

FSI successfully met these demands, completing design, construction, and final turnover exactly six months after contract execution.
